Shrewsbury Squash and Racketball Club.

 new glass back court and the new men's changing rooms will be completed later this month and then work started on the ladies changing rooms. The Opening of the 3rd court will be on Saturday, 7th September, the court will be  named the Kemp Court in recognition of the work by the Kemp family for Shropshire Squash and in particular the late Peter Kemp. The ribbon will be cut by Margaret Kemp and the first match on the court will be Jonathon Kemp ranked 20 in the World and Jaymie Haycocks ranked 72 in the world- going upwards-, who is  also  the National Racketball Champion.
Following this match Jonathon, Jaymie and Jaclyn Kemp( Ranked 12 in the World in 2012), will take on all comers- Jonathon and Jacklyn Squash and Jaymie Racketball. During the afternoon there will entertainment for children- bouncy castle etc- and music for the children  by the live Band.

6pm onwards there will be a hog roast donated by Dave Firman, an Auction (Items are coming in quickly- 2 tickets for Stoke  City, VIP tickets for the World Squash Cup  Final in Manchester, Signed Joe Hart Jersey, Details of sought after golf items to come. Signed England Squash Shirt signed by all members of the World Squash Team and many more item and a full list will follow in due course. Live Music by Lost in France( Also known as The Poet Dogs),who are giving their services free in view of the cause. All Beers consumed on the day will be donated by The Three Tons Brewery, Bishops Castle and wine by the members of the club, one bottle each by over 30 members of our club.
All proceeds for the day will be used to put in Changing Rooms for Disabled People so that we can support Sport for All. We are in touch with the head of England Squash for Disabled People and also the person in charge of England Sport for the Disabled, so that we can encourage people with disabilities to use our facilities and even enrol in courses supported by England Squash for  Disabled  People.
It is important we get as many people coming on the 7th, both to support the squash and also even more important financially  6pm onwards because everything has been donated and 
every penny spent is profit for the cause.
